Benefits of turbo liner

The beauty of Turbo Liner® is that it dries 2 to 3 seconds after being sprayed. This means we can spray the coating from floor to wall and even ceiling without drips or irregularities. Additionally, we impose high quality standards on our own pre-treatment. We apply sealant, putty, and sand with the utmost care and know exactly how to create the perfect surface for a smooth and seamless transition from corner to corner and from obstacle to obstacle. For example, we can make a loading area comply with HACCP hygiene standards.

The seamlessness naturally contributes to waterproofing because where there are no seams or gaps, water cannot penetrate. However, the product itself, the Turbo Liner® sprayed plastic, is also waterproof. Turbo Liner® is a Polyurea that forms a waterproof membrane due to its density. And with the complementary primer layer that we apply before spraying, the substrate will be sealed, and the adhesion with the coating will be so strong that a Turbo Liner® treatment can be described as applying a second skin.

As mentioned above, Turbo Liner® consists of a Polyurea. This is a sprayed plastic that consists of two components. These components only come together when you pull the trigger of the spray gun. At that moment, a special reaction occurs where the molecules of the components interlock and do not want to let go of each other. These components are made for each other. Love at first sight. But that ensures that the plastic that has just been formed is extremely tough. And that toughness makes Turbo Liner® vandal-proof.

In Nederland begonnen we met het verspuiten van Polyurea in trailers die rolcontainers vervoeren omdat daar een tweetal problemen bestonden. De rolcontainers veroorzaakten slijtage én enorme geluidsoverlast bij in- en uitladen. Dit kon voorkomen worden door het aanbrengen van een dikke laag gespoten kunststof. Uiteindelijke heeft Turbo Liner® hier zelfs een PIEK-certificering op gekregen wat zoveel wilt zeggen dat we een trailer dusdanig kunnen behandelen dat deze aan alle richtlijnen voldoet om stil te kunnen laden en lossen. Maar deze eigenschap geldt natuurlijk ook voor pick-ups, bestelwagens en open laadbakken. Waar en wanneer je ook komt; geluidshinder bij laden- en lossen is geen issue.

Naast de vloeistofdichtheid van Turbo Liner® is de extreme slijtvastheid misschien wel haar grootste troef. Turbo Liner® komt oorspronkelijk uit de Verenigde Staten en wordt sinds jaar en dag gebruikt als dé ultieme bescherming in pick-ups (ze noemen dat een hotspray bedliner). En in de VS hebben ze geen bestelwagens zoals in Europa. Nee, daar gebruiken ze hun pick-up voor álles! U kunt zich voorstellen dat zo’n laadbak redelijk wat te verduren krijgt. Niet gek dus dat ze het meest slijtvaste product hebben uitgekozen voor in hun dierbare werkpaard. Het moet lang mee kunnen gaan. Zo lang zelfs dat we bij een Turbo Liner® behandeling een certificaat voor een autolevenslange garantie mogen meegeven.

Op onze download pagina kun je een waslijst vinden aan chemicaliën die allemaal getest zijn in combinatie met Turbo Liner®. Tegen het leeuwendeel van de chemische stoffen is onze gespoten kunststof prima resistent. Van een klein deel van de chemische stoffen is er de mogelijkheid dat er minimale cosmetische schade ondervonden zal worden. Maar uiteraard zijn er ook uitzonderingen waar Turbo Liner® echt niet tegen kan, het is dan ook niet de bedoeling om je laadruimte daarmee in te drenken. Over het algemeen is Turbo Liner® vele malen resistenter dan welk alternatief ook. Mocht je dus al chemische middelen willen vervoeren dan kan dat met een gerust hart in een met Turbo Liner® gespoten laadruimte. Niets aan de hand.

A feature that cannot be called a luxury in the automotive and transport sector. You certainly don't want cargo to slide excessively, and you also don't want people slipping on a loading floor at every turn. Turbo Liner® is represented in this area with two properties. Initially, our sprayed plastic is still somewhat flexible, which means that cargo or people sink slightly into the coating on a microscopic level. That may sound strange, but it does help against slipping. Additionally, we provide every loading floor or cargo space with a special mist structure. As the final part of a treatment, we spray some extra Turbo Liner® into the air, which then settles as a kind of orange peel texture on the treated surface. This way, you get an extra anti-slip layer.

Because Turbo Liner® is sprayed on and not mounted, it creates a second skin. It is a surface treatment that molds to whatever it is sprayed on. So you get a custom-made plastic protection that fits like no other. And due to the seamless surface, Turbo Liner® is extremely easy to keep clean. It stays beautiful for a long time. The mist structure also makes it a very aesthetically pleasing whole. A robust 'look & feel'. All in all, they call this a 'factory like finish' in the United States. It's so sleek that it looks like it rolls straight out of the factory. But then custom made.

The strength of Turbo Liner® sprayed plastic does not lie in its hardness but rather in its toughness, which means there is also flexibility involved. Turbo Liner® even has an elongation of about 200%! This property ensures that the coating can have a significant impact. This is important for objects that are constantly subjected to movement: vehicles. For example, a hard polyester layer will, due to extensive daily driving, loading and unloading, tackling speed bumps, etc., develop small cracks. And the smallest crack can already be detrimental to corrosion on the bodywork. From there, it can go from bad to worse.
