HYGIENE HELD IN HIGH REGARD
When transporting fresh products, there is always the possibility that some foodstuffs or other organic material remains in the cargo space. Whether it's breadcrumbs at the bakery, a drop of soup at the caterer, or flower petals at the florist. It is not desirable for these to end up in the joints or seams of the bodywork. In fact, strict hygiene regulations have been established by the European Union, formerly known as HACCP.
The standard applies to all companies involved in the preparation, processing, handling, packaging, and the transport or distribution of foodstuffs.
Seamlessness and cleanliness are therefore required. We therefore recommend the high or even full Turbo Liner® treatment of a van. This makes the cargo space completely seamless (except for the doors) and the vehicle easy to keep clean by throwing a bucket of water in or even spraying it out.
For the same reason, we recommend a Turbo Liner® treatment of the loading floor with a seamless raised edge for box trucks.
